On this Teachers’ Day,
I thank my teachers—
and also those who taught me
lessons no classroom could.

Those who criticized, misunderstood,
cursed, hurt, left, hated, rejected,
and pushed me away…
Every wound taught me strength.
Every rejection taught me self-worth.
Every goodbye taught me to find myself.
You may not know it,
but you were my Gurus too.
With gratitude, I thank you all. 🙏
